A severe case of conjunctival dyskeratosis was resolved by treatment with high doses of vitamin A administered both topically and parenterally. This result, which was confirmed by cytology, and the lack of adverse effects suggest that vitamin A administration migh be a valid alternative to surgery in cases of dyskeratosis. © 1997 S.
