We give some generalizations of the classical Hartogs-Rosenthal theorem, where every continuous function on a (complex) compact set with zero Lebesgue measure can be uniformly approximated by the restriction to K of functions that are holomorphic on a neighbourhood of K. We substitute to the space of holomorphic functions the solutions of a given overdetermined system.
