Several thousands of Z vertical component magnetic stations have been obtained by various researches over more than four decades in the area included between the Adige River and the Venetian Prealps: the mean density is one station per square km. We first made the available data homogeneous, so as to compare them with the "normal' field, calculated at 1979.0. The anomaly map shows a very complex pattern; various techniques of data processing, such as two-dimensional Fourier spectral analysis, low-pass filtering and analytical continuation were applied to interpret it. Furthermore, two-dimensional Fourier spectra of some sub-sectors of the area under examination were computed to estimate the mean depths to the magnetic sources. The results agree well with the known tectonovolcanologic framework. -Authors

Abstract
-AuthorsI documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
