This paper discusses the reliability of EIS technique for the evaluation of the corrosion rates of iron in inhibited sulphuric acid solutions. The inhibitors used were S or N containing substances. Besides the B value from the Tafel slopes, the effect of low amplitude, low frequency potential perturbation was presented too.
