Abstract
A no. of N-substituted 3-methyl-4-diazo-5-pyrazolecarboxamides have been synthesized and tested for their in vitro antibacterial activity. All the compds. have been assayed against several representative gram-neg. and gram-pos. bacteria, as well as against some intestinal bacterial species. Some of the 4-diazopyrazoles have shown a quite interesting broad-spectrum activity, whereas they are ineffective against the protective intestinal flora. The structure-activity relationships of the series have been studied quant., via both univariate and multivariate methods: the results are consistent and permit some rationalization of the behavior of the compds. investigated.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
