5-Pyrazolecarboxamides I [R = 3,4-(MeO)2C6H3CH2CH2, PhCHMe, 4-MeOC6H4CH2, 3-(F3C)C6H4; R1 = NO2, NH2] and pyrazolopyrimidines II were prepd., and they showed antiinflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic activity. Thus, intermol. dilactam III was treated with PhCHMeNH2, the I (R = PhCHMe, R1 = NO2) product was reduced (NaBH4-Pd/C), and the I (R1 = NH2) obtained reacted with HCONH2 to give II (R = PhCHMe).
