An aware intervention led the impressive compound of the Cistercian abbey of Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Ter Duinen to form a new arts centre. The project arranged by Benny Govaert and Damien Vanhoutte architects with the support of Benoît Delaey architect, member of the Municipal Advisory Council for Immovable Heritage of the municipality of Koksijde, aimed to set an exhibition space for accommodating a permanent exhibition, with some key works of the sculptor George Grard, between which the nine monumental sculptures placed outdoors, in dialog with the continuous temporary exhibitions.
