The regeneration of the Old Glassworks and neighbouring urban areas in the historical centre of Ptuj, by Elementarna studio, is focused on the central concept of the connection between the ancient and the contemporary, and transforms the urban spaces into a new cultural centre in which interior and exterior merge in pursuit of maximum flexibility, creating a dialogue between past and present by enhancing the existing historical features.
La rigenerazione delle Antiche Vetrerie e delle aree urbane limitrofe nel centro storico di Ptuj, Slovenia, ad opera dello studio Elementarna, ruota attorno al tema centrale del collegamento tra antico e contemporaneo, e trasforma gli spazi urbani in un nuovo centro culturale in cui interni ed esterni si fondono perseguendo la massima flessibilità, creando un dialogo tra passato e presente e valorizzando l’esistente storico.
