MVV is a Leading Energy company in Germany. In 2021 MVV launched a restrained international architectural competition to propose the first Refurbished based green energy pavillon to recharge electric vehicles in Mannheim. The basis of the architectural project is a concrete pavillon from the 50's to be alterered and renewed. The winning project proposes a minimal intervention to reveal the inherited concreete structure, and a new inox skin. A dialogue between future-s associating a feeling for space architecture - in the tradition of Prouvés membrane structure - and the contemporary blending of the mirroring pavillon with the surrounding park.
