We report two cases of lime occupational phytophotodermatitispresenting with hyperpigmentation without prior relevant signs ofinflammation such as erythema, edema, or blisters. Both patients, infact, did not report significant previous inflammatory reactions. Iso-lated hyperpigmentation is a well-known clinical feature of lime'sphytophotodermatitis. Furocoumarins levels are higher in peel thanin the flesh of citrus fruit. In fact in our patients the only positivereaction was found at the site where we had rubbed lime peel, whereas lime juice did not produce any cutaneous reaction.
