Critical introduction to the concept of resilience in social sciences. This concept presents dfferent problems in term of empirical analysis and a specific weakness to understand its relationship with the social fabric. Moreover, its epistemology recall the neoliberistic visione of society because to connect with the individual responsability. In order to renovate the social menaing of resilience needs to change the perspective, in particular to analize the institutional capacity to promote and to sustain the resilience at every level of social strata.
