The article examines the prerequisites and guarantees that art. 32 of the Italian Constitution, together with art. 2 of the Italian Constitution, places at the basis of the so-called Compulsory Health Treatment. The nature of the controlled "exception" to the rule of individual self-determination in matters of health is highlighted. There are numerous legislative references to the case as well as, above all, references to the consolidated constitutional jurisprudence on the subject. Special attention is obviously devoted to vaccinations (mandatory or constituting the subject of "burdens"), to "compulsory" health treatments as well as the recent legislative innovations represented by the so-called green pass.
