Holz statt Marmor

Publication in a well-known international architectural magazine of the project that won the 1st prize in the architectural competition for the new bank branch of the Kärntner Sparkasse in Straßburg (Carinthia, Austria). The building is located at the edge of the historical city with its important episcopal castle. The new building defines social spaces in a sensitive rural setting offering different public services. Landscape and architecture: design of the square with the surrounding green areas. Mixed timber architecture. Eco-sustainable heating and cooling systems (heat pump, geothermy, solar panels).

Pubblicazione su nota rivista internazionale del progetto vincitore del 1° premio in un concorso di architettura per la realizzazione della nuova filiale bancaria della Kärntner Sparkasse di Straßburg (Carinzia, Austria). L'edificio si inserisce ai margini della struttura urbana della città storica e del suo importante castello episcopale. Il nuovo edificio definisce degli spazi destinati alla socialità in un delicato ambiente rurale offrendo diversi servizi pubblici.
