The ductal differentiation of the epithelium of adenolymphomas has been further demonstrated by means of immunocytochemical techniques. The lympho-plasmocytoid elements secrete IgA immunoglobulins. It is suggested that the epitelial component of adenolymphomas produces an antigen which stimulates the IgA production, by analogy with the intestinal mucosa.
