Il progetto per la nuova copertura della chiesa del Monastero di San Juan a Burgos, ad opera dello studio BSA Consult, oltre a proteggere i resti dalle intemperie, restituisce al complesso architettonico la sensazione di interno creando un nuovo spazio urbano per attività culturali, utilizzando materiali moderni in una struttura nuova in grado di dialogare con l’architettura antica, ed evitando il contatto fisico dell’intervento contemporaneo con le antiche murature
