During the last few years, continuous glucose monitoring systems have been used to help diabetic patients to control their blood glucose levels while avoiding finger pricks. Adverse reactions to these systems, mainly allergic contact dermatitis, may develop because of the continuous contact with the skin. A case of allergic contact dermatitis caused by isobornyl acrylate (IBOA) in a diabetic patient using the Freestyle Libre system is reported.
