The authors present an etiopathologic interpretation of the s.c. 'pressure sores'. The start of the lesion is recognised as an alteration of the mobility and adaptation, considered as the relation between the body (or some of this segments) and the direct environment. From a pathophysiological point of view, 4 grades of pressure sores are classified.
