In the present work, by means of the implicit gradient approach, the fatigue behaviour of different types of arc welded joints has been analyzed. The structural details made of steel, had been considered as three-dimensional solids and modeled without making any geometric simplification. Moreover, it is considered the same numerical procedure independently from welded details and without imposing restrictive rules in the FE mesh creation.
