Oral cavity cancer usually request surgical treatment. The result is often loss of oral cavty function in order to reach a radical surgery. The need for speech therapy is to restore swallowing and articulation and to assure a good post-surgical quality of life. In our series we analyse the logopedic treatment necessary to achieve a better swallowing in all the patients operated on for oral cavity cancer and subsequentely reconstructed.
