A numerical procedure is developed herein for the dynamic plastic analysis of ideal fibre-reinforced beams with any given load and boundary condition. The numerical results are in good agreement with the theoretical predictions for those cases whose solutions are already known. Two further examples are solved for which no theoretical solutions are presently available.
