The problems of food-related communication can be approached under many perspectives, e.g. product-related, process-related, and risk-related communication. The latter, third step of the risk analysis process, claims for a responsible usage of legal instruments (e.g., the RASFF – Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed). Emergencies like the E.Coli of 2011 (and the way it has been managed by national authorities) are the "body of evidence" of such a need. In parallel, EU lawmakers seem busier in complicating future rules on information to consumers, rather than in regulating a good and responsible usage of the already existing rules.

Abstract
The problems of food-related communication can be approached under many perspectives, e.g. product-related, process-related, and risk-related communication. The latter, third step of the risk analysis process, claims for a responsible usage of legal instruments (e.g., the RASFF – Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed). Emergencies like the E.Coli of 2011 (and the way it has been managed by national authorities) are the "body of evidence" of such a need. In parallel, EU lawmakers seem busier in complicating future rules on information to consumers, rather than in regulating a good and responsible usage of the already existing rules.File in questo prodotto:
