An intrinsic definition for dynamical symmetries on the velocity space TQ is proposed when the Lagrangian function is degenerate. A necessary and sufficient condition is provided so that vector fields of X (TQ), connected with constants of the motion, generate dynamical symmetries on the final constraint submanifold. © 1992.
