On the basis of the principle of tissue regeneration, and the osteoinductive and/or osteoconductive capacities of implanted materials, the authors have developed, tested and subsequently re-evaluated (by means of radiography, CT and histological biopsy samples) a new technique for raising the maxillary sinus floor in such a way as to obtain the same morphology and increase in bone classically obtained by means of antero-vestibular fenestration. The characteristics of the proposed technique led to minimal surgical stress and trauma and negligible post-operative pain; it is also very simple andleads to predictable results.

Abstract
On the basis of the principle of tissue regeneration, and the osteoinductive and/or osteoconductive capacities of implanted materials, the authors have developed, tested and subsequently re-evaluated (by means of radiography, CT and histological biopsy samples) a new technique for raising the maxillary sinus floor in such a way as to obtain the same morphology and increase in bone classically obtained by means of antero-vestibular fenestration. The characteristics of the proposed technique led to minimal surgical stress and trauma and negligible post-operative pain; it is also very simple andleads to predictable results.File in questo prodotto:
