The paper provides an econometric analysis of the effects of organisational innovation on firm performance. Using a dataset built out of a survey of firms in the Bergamo province, we test the effect of the adoption of new work practices (organisational changes) on firm productivity. For this purpose, a log-linear production function is estimated. We find that the adoption of a flat hierarchical structure, together with complementary practices, has a positive effect on firm productivity.

Abstract
The paper provides an econometric analysis of the effects of organisational innovation on firm performance. Using a dataset built out of a survey of firms in the Bergamo province, we test the effect of the adoption of new work practices (organisational changes) on firm productivity. For this purpose, a log-linear production function is estimated. We find that the adoption of a flat hierarchical structure, together with complementary practices, has a positive effect on firm productivity.File in questo prodotto:
