The existence of solutions of the Cauchy problem for ovedetermined systems of linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients in some classes of functions or distributions is equivalent to the validity of related Phragmen-Lindeloef principles for holomorphic functions on the associated (complex) characteristic variety. Here we prove the equivalence of these Phragmen-Lindeloef principles for holomorphic functions with the analogous ones for plurisubharmonic functions, which are easier to handle in the applications.

Abstract
The existence of solutions of the Cauchy problem for ovedetermined systems of linear partial differential operators with constant coefficients in some classes of functions or distributions is equivalent to the validity of related Phragmen-Lindeloef principles for holomorphic functions on the associated (complex) characteristic variety. Here we prove the equivalence of these Phragmen-Lindeloef principles for holomorphic functions with the analogous ones for plurisubharmonic functions, which are easier to handle in the applications.File in questo prodotto:
