This research investigates the corrosion resistance of reinforcing bars embedded in concrete where cement has been partially replaced with WCS. Specifically, two different replacement levels were analyzed: 10% and 25% by weight of cement. The experimental program focused on assessing how these substitution rates influence the protection afforded by concrete to steel reinforcement in chloride-containing environments.
