The Monument to the Independence of Brazil, also called the Monument of Ipiranga, named after the region of São Paulo that houses it, is a granite and bronze sculptural complex belonging to the city's Independence Park. In the same area is the Casa del Grido, a building of important historical importance, which makes up the material culture of the city and linked to the landmark of the Brazilian Proclamation of Independence that took place in 1822. Completing the architectural ensemble of the area is the Ipiranga Museum, completed in 1885 again with the aim of celebrating Brazilian independence. This contribution aims to enhance the historical identity both tangible and intangible of the three buildings by highlighting the need for awareness-raising activities at different levels. The results of the research carried out have also been disseminated thanks to the use of digital documentation intended as a key moment for the cultural revitalization of the site. In this way, historical memories can be promoted to prevent important pieces of a country's history from being forgotten or mistakenly revisited.
