SUMMARY − Molino Casarotto, in the Fimon Valleys (Berici Hills, Veneto), is a site of the Full Neolithic period, referring to the ancient phase (geometric-linear style) of the Culture of Square Mouthed Vases. Ceramics, lithic industry on fl int, lithic industry on greenstone do not diff erentiate it from other contemporary sites in northern Italy. Instead, it stands out for its location near a lake, for the adaptation of housing structures to the humid environment, for the development of an economy linked to the exploitation of the resources off ered by the lake and hunting, in which productive activities have a secondary role. ese characteristics must be taken into account in defi ning the Full Neolithic of the Po Valley. Our contribution is dedicated in particular to the lithic industry on fl int: it should be emphasized that the Neolithics of Molino Casarotto did not use the closest Berici and Euganei fl ints, but were constantly supplied by the central-western Lessini, where there are lithic resources particularly suitable and sought after for the production of a macrolithic industry characterized by strong laminariness.
