The paper aims to review the literature on strategies for analyzing and improving thermal comfort in open and liminal spaces. Systematizing and combining the key parameters used in these studies can enable designers and administrators to properly measure the phenomena related to historic city at our latitudes. Indeed, here the different climatic, social, cultural, and testimonial aspects give the qualities that define comfort, along with the personal perception of the end user.
