The article analyses the challanges of redesigning the Warsaw Steelwork plant within the framework of the general Europan effort to rethink productive landscapes. It focuses on the emergent design approaches, and on the struggle between Methods and Narratives in the way to produce visions for a sustainble future. The text was written for the city of Warsaw and Europan Poland as a member of the international jury of Europan Poland. The volume collects the contributions from leading German and Polish experts on the challenges of the productive city.
