Abstract

The production of Ga-68 via liquid target cyclotron system improves the on-demand availability of this attractive PET isotope to cyclotron centres, while producing higher quantities than currently available from commercial generators. We devised an improved purification method for cyclotron produced Ga-68 in a liquid target that enables radiolabeling of DOTA-TOC using standard conditions. An in vivo study comparing DOTA-TOC radiolabeled with either generator or liquid target produced Ga-68 was also conducted.
