Pseudo-Savonarola, class II 147, also called Ricettario Medico-Cosmetico (Medical-Cosmetic Book), is a manuscript of the sixteenth century kept in the renowned Ariostea Library of Ferrara, which also includes some recipes (among many) clearly aimed at the deodorization of the person. Some are recipes for intimate hygiene, others are perfuming and whitening formulations. After a careful analysis of the raw materials we can scientifically validate the claimed properties.
