Fibrous materials for automotive applications are constituted from mixtures of recycled fibers of different nature which are bonded together and compacted with a wide variability of density and thickness. The acoustic modelling of these materials is of significant importance for the simulation of the acoustic performance of the final component and is usually carried out by performing exper-imental tests on a considerable number of samples with different density and extrapolating specific analytical relationships for a defined mixture of fibers.

Abstract
Fibrous materials for automotive applications are constituted from mixtures of recycled fibers of different nature which are bonded together and compacted with a wide variability of density and thickness. The acoustic modelling of these materials is of significant importance for the simulation of the acoustic performance of the final component and is usually carried out by performing exper-imental tests on a considerable number of samples with different density and extrapolating specific analytical relationships for a defined mixture of fibers.File in questo prodotto:
