In recent years, LepidaScpA has focused on the development of some test beds that allow monitoring of indoor environmental parameters using the LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) protocol, obtaining excellent results and feedback from the entities involved. The growing interest among public and private entities in this topic has led LepidaScpA to the decision of designing an architecture that allows anyone, in the Regional territory, to take advantage of this protocol in a simple and fast way. This model must include two main aspects that will be illustrated in this work. The first is the centralization of the most complex and expensive aspects such as the installation of antennas (also called gateway) and the management of the server dedicated to receiving and storing data. The second is the creation of an easy-to-use web interface that allows end users to register for the project, manage their sensors and view their data.
