Abstract

The turbocapitalistic model is expressed both by the excess (planet = landfill) and by the collapse of social groups and sanctioned the social disintegration and the gap be-tween accumulators of global wealth and the excluded expelled from the social cycles made waste. Thus complex areas full of tensions flourish, inducing new research and answers. Social and spatial projects that go beyond the uniqueness of design disci-plines, combining elements of a social, technological, media, economic and environ-mental nature. The systemic project turns into an eco-system. This post-social dimen-sion redefines the strategies and tools of the project through the hyper-hybrid so that all the actors coexist. It is obligatory to start from the refusal, both physical, due to modern overproduction, and social, which leads people to replace being with having in everyday life. The study moves between the disciplines to define a sustainable cir-cular and adaptable strategy, of the community and the city, which redetermines the value of the “gap”: the re-conditioning, through the transitions Discard = Value and Reciprocity = Community. Reciprocity between the existing and its prosthesis, in the social hybridization between uses, social classes and ethnic groups. The emblem of this challenge is the re-conditioning of the ex INAIL S. Benedetto Val di Sambro building, of 8,000 square meters, designed and built in the 1960s, never put into service. Start-ing from the end of the process, it is clear how much public economic leverage has been the founding condition of the initiation of the initiative, but it is also true that, without a study aimed at reactivating territorial relationships of meaning, any invest-ment would not have been reflected. The imagined re-uses, ie the nursing home, the housing community, an elderly center with a micro-nest, a reception community for minors and single mothers and services to the territory, are the result of a relational re-stitching before a project .
