This volume is divided into four parts. The first phase of the research was essentially aimed at analysing the main issues raised from a European perspective by confiscation in its various forms. The second phase was aimed at examining in detail the different profiles assumed by freezing and confiscation in partner countries. The third phase was aimed at examining the points of convergence and divergence found in the laws of these countries in relation to the aforementioned profiles of the institutions in question.
