In this report, the results of a study we have recently carried out on a 3-hydroxyflavone (3HF) based wavelength shifter (WLS) are reported. The dye molecule was embedded in three different matrices, namely parylene-C, polyimide and polysiloxane. The WLS was prepared through co-evaporation (parylene matrix) or spin coating and casting (polyimide- and polysiloxane-based matrices). Optical properties were investigated by absorption and emission spectroscopy. A solar simulator, a rheostat and two testers were used to probe the effect of the WLS on a photovoltaic module sensitivity.

Abstract
In this report, the results of a study we have recently carried out on a 3-hydroxyflavone (3HF) based wavelength shifter (WLS) are reported. The dye molecule was embedded in three different matrices, namely parylene-C, polyimide and polysiloxane. The WLS was prepared through co-evaporation (parylene matrix) or spin coating and casting (polyimide- and polysiloxane-based matrices). Optical properties were investigated by absorption and emission spectroscopy. A solar simulator, a rheostat and two testers were used to probe the effect of the WLS on a photovoltaic module sensitivity.File in questo prodotto:
