HEROTile Project wish to offer a practical demonstration of the behavior during the summer season of a building with Above Sheathing Ventilation by analyzing and quantifying the performance of air circulation in a pitched roof in which varies the air-permeability between tiles (taking into account Portoguese and Marseillaise roof tiles whose market share is about the 60% of the EU roof tiles market). Besides HEROTile Project has potential risks for failure mainly connected to technological tests and real-scale demonstration activities. In this contest the LIFE Programme (LIFE Climate Change Adaptation) actively encourages project proposals focusing on urban adaptation “developing and deploying innovative adaptation technologies in urban areas, including in the water, energy and construction sectors”. On the other hand, the LIFE Programme (LIFE Climate Change Adaptation) wishes to fund projects aiming at “the development and demonstration of innovative climate change adaptation technologies, systems, methods and instruments that are suitable for being replicated, transferred or mainstreamed.” and at “the implementation of Union policy on climate change adaptation, including mainstreaming across policy areas”. The environmental policy community is the main target of HEROTile Project to develop specific legislation and standardization since the lack of harmonized standards and certification across EU for this kind of products. Moreover the Project foresee a substantial dissemination activity in the spirit of the LIFE Programme to disseminate this approach to the wider Construction Sector, clay brick and roof tiles Producersas well as to Policy Makers.

Abstract
Moreover the Project foresee a substantial dissemination activity in the spirit of the LIFE Programme to disseminate this approach to the wider Construction Sector, clay brick and roof tiles Producersas well as to Policy Makers.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
