Access opportunities to common goods are increasingly influenced by the social stratification of inhabitants-users who reside-circulate in the city, this is the physical location and territory of exchange still in unstable balance among the antisocial dimension related to the use of the virtual technologies and the physical necessity of proximity. The study on the Macrolotto 0 in Prato, started with the crisis of the textile compartment, this is an opportunity to face, with atypical tools the urban project. Once district devoted totally to the production of the fabrics and ready to wear then, where Chinese workers has replaced in few decades the Italian ones, today it concerns in a state of social, economic and urban disaggregation. The aim of the research was to imagine new scenarios for the Macrolotto 0, already identified by Bernardo Secchi as one of strategic importance in the urban dynamics of the city. Macrolotto 0 is a place of cultural intersection, multi-ethnic space even though rich of problems, become "peripheral" despite the inclusion in the urban fabric in the historic center, it appears to be the prototype of the contemporary "colonized" cities, emphasizing social aspects and dynamics, place of regeneration for a new, increased and rethought strategy of integration between the various ethnic groups.
