In the population of the Po river delta the presymptomatic detection of APCKD by 3'HVR and 24-1 DNA markers is feasible in almost all cases with at least 95% of accuracy. Moreover it is suggested that renal tubular function tests should also be used in early screening programmes.

Abstract
In the population of the Po river delta the presymptomatic detection of APCKD by 3'HVR and 24-1 DNA markers is feasible in almost all cases with at least 95% of accuracy. Moreover it is suggested that renal tubular function tests should also be used in early screening programmes.File in questo prodotto:
