The aim of this study is to analyse a lateral view of soft tissues following orthopaedic treatment with Rapid Palatal Expander (RPE) and Delaire mask in growing patients affected by Class III malocclusion. Material and methods: A total of 12 patients (average age: 8 year ± 3 months) with mixed dentition were selected as study group. They had not been previously treated and were affected by skeletal and dental Class III malocclusion. A total of 24 profiles were studied (12 at TO boginning of treatment, and 12 at T1 end of treatment. The size of the lip area within to tip of the nose/commessure of the mouth/c pog triangle was drown and calculated. Autodesk architectural desktop 2007 version A. 116.0 (Unicode) was used. Results: Results show that, compared to TO, the size of lips in patients who underwent joint RPE Delaire treatment is 5% (p<0.005) larger.
