The paper aims to describe the work developed by Working Group 3, in the two last years of the COST Action TU0701, consisted of the analysis, the collection and the comparison of the main assessment models and different approaches in each Country for quality assessment in a refurbishment action. Working Group 3 focused on identifying the methodologies, used in the European countries involved in the Action. Such methodologies are used to assess options for a building refurbishment and testing them by directly assessing the envisaged quality improvement of a selected case study. The strategic aim of Task 6 was the collection and analysis of available models for refurbish-ment and the improvement of quality and value of suburban building stock to be refurbished. It also including the definition of criteria for renovation actions, as well as looking at the possibil-ity to develop renovation plans. After the definition of a common framework describing the purposes and contents of the col-lected tools, which members planned to do, during one COST Action meeting held in Timi-soara, a proper survey was carried out on an active building, selected as a case study. This was made available by the local host and organiser. It proved extremely helpful as it gave us a hands-on experience of testing and applying each country’s tools and methodologies used in the respective member’s country or province. These results are presented as the work output of WG3, now WG6, at the Final Conference held in April 2012 in Ferrara, capping the Action.

Abstract
These results are presented as the work output of WG3, now WG6, at the Final Conference held in April 2012 in Ferrara, capping the Action.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
