The inhibition of copper corrosion in chloride containing aqueous solutions by aminothiazole derivatives was investigated by means of gravimetric, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical tests and by SEM observations. An attempt was made to emphasize eventual relationship between molecular structure characteristics and inhibiting efficiencies of the organic additives.
