This chapter will introduce the hArtes Hardware Platform (hHp, in short). This platform is an heterogeneous reconfigurable computing system, that has been purposedly developed within the project. The platform plays a double role within hArtes: on the one hand, it is a reference target for the complete hArtes toolchain, while on the other hand it provides sufficient computing resources for several high-performance applications in the audio domain. This chapter describes in details the ideas that lay behind the hHp architecture, its detailed implementation and how the hHp meets its requirements within the hArtes project.

Abstract
This chapter will introduce the hArtes Hardware Platform (hHp, in short). This platform is an heterogeneous reconfigurable computing system, that has been purposedly developed within the project. The platform plays a double role within hArtes: on the one hand, it is a reference target for the complete hArtes toolchain, while on the other hand it provides sufficient computing resources for several high-performance applications in the audio domain. This chapter describes in details the ideas that lay behind the hHp architecture, its detailed implementation and how the hHp meets its requirements within the hArtes project.File in questo prodotto:
