Abstract
We propose to exploit the anisotropy of the positrons emitted in the reaction ν̄e+p→n+e+ for extracting a possible antineutrino signal from the Superkamiokande background. The sensitivity to νe→ν̄e transition probability is at the 3% level already with the statistics collected in the first hundred days. Within three years of data taking, this sensitivity will reach the 1% level, thus providing a stringent test of several theoretical models.File in questo prodotto:
