Abstract
We present experimental and theoretical Brillouin Light Scattering investigation of collective spin wave excitations in dense arrays of interacting magnetic cylindrical dots, which can be seen as two dimensional magnonic crystals. The calculations have been performed within the dynamical matrix method, with a Bloch type form of the dynamic magnetization. It is found that a few modes present an appreciable dispersion versus the surface wavevector, both in the Magnetostatic surface wave and in the Magnetostatic backward volume wave geometries.File in questo prodotto:
