The paper presents a method for evaluating the influence of different sets of measurements (in terms of number and kind) on gas turbine health determination. It is analyzed how the uncertainty of measurements and variations occurring on the characteristic parameters, which have to be fixed to solve the problem, affect the health parameter estimation. The study, which was developed for different combinations of measurements and fixed characteristic parameters, leads to the identification of: - the best set of measurements for the determination of the gas turbine operating state; - the most appropriate characteristic parameters to fix, depending on available measurements.

Abstract
The paper presents a method for evaluating the influence of different sets of measurements (in terms of number and kind) on gas turbine health determination. It is analyzed how the uncertainty of measurements and variations occurring on the characteristic parameters, which have to be fixed to solve the problem, affect the health parameter estimation. The study, which was developed for different combinations of measurements and fixed characteristic parameters, leads to the identification of: - the best set of measurements for the determination of the gas turbine operating state; - the most appropriate characteristic parameters to fix, depending on available measurements.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
