The research presented here discusses a major stumbling-block and an often absolute barrier to any foreign language learning: pronunciation and intonation. In this respect, it also affects the learning of the lexicon, which may not be heard correctly, therefore not be understood correctly, and of course not be produced correctly, either. The instrument presented, the so called "Electronic Ear", may, especially for adult learners, become a "liberating" instrument which accelerates the learning process.

Abstract
The research presented here discusses a major stumbling-block and an often absolute barrier to any foreign language learning: pronunciation and intonation. In this respect, it also affects the learning of the lexicon, which may not be heard correctly, therefore not be understood correctly, and of course not be produced correctly, either. The instrument presented, the so called "Electronic Ear", may, especially for adult learners, become a "liberating" instrument which accelerates the learning process.File in questo prodotto:
