Monoclonal antibodies were used to determine the concentration of serum Ig and the number of lymphocytes in different lymphoid organs of sea bass. Age-related and seasonal changes of serum Ig concentration were detected. Preliminary data from two-year-old specimens showed that hyperoxygenation (12 ppm/L oxygen) resulted in a two-fold increase of serum Ig, compared with controls (7 ppm/L), and increased number of lymphocytes in the lymphoid tissues.

Abstract
Monoclonal antibodies were used to determine the concentration of serum Ig and the number of lymphocytes in different lymphoid organs of sea bass. Age-related and seasonal changes of serum Ig concentration were detected. Preliminary data from two-year-old specimens showed that hyperoxygenation (12 ppm/L oxygen) resulted in a two-fold increase of serum Ig, compared with controls (7 ppm/L), and increased number of lymphocytes in the lymphoid tissues.File in questo prodotto:
